Chinese theme Park has caused an international outcry after forced the pig to bungee jump with a 68-meter tower.

In the video, hear the poor pig screamed hysterically terrified during the ordeal. After the show, the animal was dragged away, and the organizers called it «just entertainment».

The BBC reports that, according to representatives of the theme Park Mexin Wine Town, in the Chinese municipality of Chongqing, the pig was one of the first jumpers on the new attraction, bungee. The trick, called the «Golden pig jump with bungee» was staged to mark the end of the Year of the Pig and the beginning of the Year of the Rat.
The statement says:
«Today we have the opening day. We allowed the pig to make the first jump, because the price of pork this year was very high, but recently fell slightly».
Pork is one of the main foods in China, but the outbreak of the African plague, which began in August 2018 and has spread across the country, and destroyed about 200 million animals and caused a rise in prices.
In December, pig meat has risen in price twice in comparison with the previous year, but is 5% cheaper relative to the prices in November.
But few of the users of social networks was considered a good joke video posted to Weibo (aka «Chinese Twitter»).
One user wrote: «I don’t see anything funny… Why are people laughing? What animal can not Express the fear does not mean that it is not afraid».
Another suggested replacing the pig theme-Park, as it will be «much more interesting».
After the jump the animal was killed, and served on the Lunar new year Banquet. According to the organizers of the stunt, for pig is «normal» to feel shock before slaughter.
China has no laws protecting animals, but in recent years activists have increasingly criticized the country for its treatment of animals and for events such as the festival of dog meat Yulin.
