This week it became known that the Turkish authorities in July arrested the citizen of the Russian Federation Renata Bakiyev; on Thursday, he appeared before the court. The young man was accused of plans to shoot down American military aircraft at NATO air base, reports local news Agency Sabah.
As reported by Dogan News Agency, Bakiyev confessed to the Turkish authorities that he is a member of the terrorist organization «Islamic state».
He added that he planned to use an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) to attack US air force, deployed in the military airbase of Incirlik in Turkey.
In the case if the operation failed, Bakiyev was a «plan B». Instead of an attack on an air force plane he could make a direct attack on the American military. Now at Incirlik serve about five thousand Americans.

Interfax writes that Bakiyev for several years is in the international wanted list. In Russia he opened a case for «participation in a foreign state in an armed formation, not stipulated by the legislation of the state, for purposes contrary to the interests of the Russian Federation» (part 2 of article 208 of the criminal code).
