Armed man attacked the police near Buckingham Palace

On Friday night unknown made attack on police officers near the Buckingham Palace. A man with a knife was arrested at 20:35 on the Ceremonial road, situated between the residence of the British monarch and Trafalgar square. He was charged with assaulting pravoohranitelej and grievous bodily harm.

As reported by London police during the arrest of the attacker two guards suffered minor wounds in the hands. Doctors assisted at the scene. According to operational data, more nobody has suffered.

At the time of the incident the Queen was not in residence.

After an emergency, Buckingham Palace cordoned off, and traffic on Ceremonial road blocked. Witnesses have published on social media of shots where one can notice the significant presence of security forces in the territory.
