Fell from a Manhattan high-rise bricks wounded 72-year-old passer-by

In the afternoon an elderly new Yorker was in the wrong place at the wrong time — when 72-year-old man passed a 20-story skyscraper in Manhattan, it fell off a few bricks.

However, a passerby clearly a born survivor — he escaped with minor injuries to the shoulder and legs and preferred to give up medical care.

The incident occurred at 15:30 in the Upper East side at the intersection of First Avenue and East 57th Street. From 15 to 18 floor building is under construction, however, dropped a brick from a construction site or facade.

Currently, the CHP is investigating the city’s Department of construction. The Ministry has not yet commented on the causes of the incident, however, decided to remind about how to prevent accidents during the construction and rules of conduct in case of injuries.
