Four people were killed (including the shooter) and 15 injured at a festival, Gilroy Garlic in Gilroy in Northern California.
The police confirmed the number of deaths at a press conference late Sunday evening, July 28. They said the suspect also dead – it is unknown whether his shot and killed the police or he killed himself.

According to police captain Gilroy Cattle smithy, among the victims were a 6 year old boy. The identity of the shooter is established. In addition, police are seeking a second man who may have been an accomplice, because some witnesses reported that probably there was a second suspect.
As told in the hospital, condition of injured range from critical to satisfactory.
13-year-old Menni Reyes from Gilroy told The Post that her friends and relatives did not realize that the shooting began because «the shots sounded like fireworks.»
«People were screaming, throwing tables and cut fences to get out,» the girl added. According to her, the shooting lasted 3-5 minutes.
Another witness said that the shooter was wearing a uniform, he had a gun, and he fired 30-40 shots.

Maribel Romero, the grandmother of the deceased 6-year-old boy told ABC7 News that he was home when she called and reported that her grandson Stephen was killed. He was at the festival with her mother and other grandmother, who were injured.

«I just hope that there is justice and they will catch the other person if he was. I want justice for my grandson,» said Maribel Romero.
California culinary festival is a famous three-day event, which attracts thousands of garlic lovers. Sunday was the last day of the festival.
