In new York girls pounced on the woman, stating that it «caused coronavirus»

Girls attacked an elderly passenger bus, accusing her that she called coronavirus. Police arrested 3 of them, but can’t find the 4 suspect, who had hit the victim, causing the stitches on his head.

As reported by news outlet CNN, teenage girls were arrested after police said they attacked a woman in a bus in new York, stating to her that it led to the emergence of the coronavirus.

Police Lieutenant Thomas Antonetti told that the girls had used swear words, profanity, they did «entusiasta statements» and asked why there are no respiratory masks.

One of the girls hit the woman on the head with an umbrella before all 4 got off the bus. About who helped her or if she got to the hospital yourself, are not reported. But, as stated in the police statement, a blow to the head was so strong that at a local hospital the victim received stitches for a cut on his head.

Shortly after the incident 3 15-year-old girls were arrested near the scene. The girls were charged with the crime of intolerance, threats, and insults. However, the police officers are still trying to find 4 suspect that, most likely, also is a teenage girl. The police believe that she is the girl who struck the woman a blow on the head with an umbrella.

Reports of attacks on natives of Asia or those who can relate to East Asia increased after the start of the pandemic coronavirus.
