Members of the loyalty program Amazon Prime will receive discounts at supermarkets Whole Foods

On Wednesday, the innovation started in Florida, where the participants of the loyalty program offered a pound of organic strawberries at a discount of $2 and a pound of steak halibut with a discount of $10. During the summer, the same bonuses will be customers of Amazon across the USA.

Recall that the current subscription price for Amazon Prime is $39 dollars for 3 months and $119 for the year. It gives such advantages as free delivery of products within two days, access watching movies, downloading music and e-books, etc.

Whole Foods is owned by Amazon since last summer, after the online giant has paid the retailer $13.7 billion.
