In Jersey city, state of new Jersey, an employee of the police Department of new York accidentally shot a Federal agent.
It happened today, August 31, at about 6.30.
As reported by NBC New York, a Federal agent was part of a group that came to the house on Bayview Avenue with a search warrant. The home owner is suspected of a robbery in the area of new York, which is why there was attended by employees of the NYPD.
When the police came to the house, they were attacked by a pit bull, who managed to bite the agent. At this time, one of new York city police officers and opened fire, shooting four times. He killed the dog but accidentally shot himself fed.
The victim was taken to the hospital. According to doctors, his injuries are not danger. The suspect was taken into custody. The details of exactly which crime he was involved, were not disclosed.
