Southwest Airlines pilot was arrested for illegal possession of weapons

On Wednesday Southwest Airlines pilot was arrested at the International airport Lambert Saint Louis, Missouri, for illegal possession of weapons. In the hand Luggage airline staff had discovered the gun Smith & Wesson M&P Shield loaded with seven rounds.

According to a press release the airport around 5:00 officers of the transportation security Administration detained a 51-year-old pilot at the checkpoint of terminal 2. He was about to Board a flight Saint Louis — Las Vegas with a stop at the International airport Los Angeles (LAX). The offender was not in possession of a permit or any other documents to firearms.

As compensation for the inconvenience, all his companions gave checks for $100 upon arrival at LAX.

Note that according to the rules of the TSA, firearms are prohibited in carry-on baggage, in checked baggage only.
