Diamonds and emeralds stolen from Museum in new Jersey

In Franklin, new Jersey, unknown robbed a Museum of minerals.

As reported in police, the thieves broke into the Museum early in the morning through the window of the second floor. In the Museum, smashed Windows and shelves.

According to preliminary data, thieves stole the emeralds, diamonds and opals for a few tens of thousands of dollars.

In addition, the crime scene police found blood stains. In their opinion, one or more intruders was hurt, perhaps when smashed Windows. About the detainees, or suspects not yet reported.

Mineral Museum in Franklin was built on the site of the old mine, which operated here from 1898 until the middle of last century. The Museum has a simulated mine tunnel and a large collection of minerals, among which — precious stones.
