Representatives of the Ministry of justice USA today, August 1, announced the arrest of 3 members of cybergroup Fin7, also known as «Carbonek» and «Navigator». All arrested persons – Ukrainians, who are senior members of the criminal organization. Hackers involved in attacks on hundreds of American and European companies.

According to information provided by the Ministry of justice, was detained Andrew Kovpaka, Dmitry Fedorov and Fedor gladyrya. Starting in 2015, the attackers hacked into hundreds of thousands of computers and stole the personal data of several million people. Mostly the cyber attacks were companies operating in the hospitality, gaming and restaurant business. Fin7 has managed to capture a huge amount of information, in most cases regarding Bank cards.

Only in America was hacked the computer network of the order of 100 of companies located in 47 States. From actions groups affected 15 million Americanswhose records on Bank cards was stolen. Police believe that 33-year-old Fedor gladyrya was the system administrator of the group Fin7. He was responsible for support of communication channels and servers, and was involved in organizational matters. He was arrested in January of this year, in Dresden (Germany). The second member of cybergroup, 44-year-old Dmitry Fedorov was detained in Poland. He was assigned tasks to other hackers Fin7 and planned operations. The man also took a direct part in the attacks on the company.

The third member of the criminal group Andrew Kovpaka, was arrested in late June, during your stay in Lepe (Spain).
