As it became known to the media, two non-profit organizations — Celebrate Mercy and MPower Change — last Saturday, announced a fundraiser to support the victims of the shooting in the synagogue. Both Muslim Association was hoping to raise at least $25 thousand, but all of a sudden the action was attended by a huge number of people. In just three days has collected more than $100 thousand
Representatives of the organizations said they wanted to answer «good for evil». According to them, that is what a real believer. Philanthropists also noted that among the sponsors were people of different religions.
«The campaign of the Muslim and Jewish communities want to demonstrate that the US is not a place of hatred and violence. We pray that this has helped the Jewish-American community to regain a sense of peace and security», — said the representatives of Celebrate Mercy and MPower Change.

Soon all the money raised will give the Islamic center in Pittsbrugh, which has close contacts with the Jewish organization «Tree of life». The initiators of the event are hoping that financial support will allow the victims of the shooting to cover part of the funeral expenses and treatment.
