On the evening of 7 February, 38-year-old Christina Stratton was walking with his daughter near his home in Bakersfield (California), when I saw that in the house the fire started. 4 other of her children slept on the second floor.
According to the fire protection Kern County (KCFD) on Thursday at about 23:45 in the center of emergency communications 911 received the message about the fire in block 10100 on Cave Avenue in the Northwest area of the city.

Pastor and family friend Angelo Frasier, said that the woman rushed home to save their children. One child woke up, and realized that he could neither breathe nor to go down, where was Stratton. So the children broke the window and jumped out. When the fire brigade arrived at the scene, witnesses said that the woman is still in the house.
KCFD reported that 4 survivors of the child received injuries of mild to moderate severity. The children were sent to a local hospital. But their mother could not be saved. Firefighters found the body of Stratton in the house during the rescue operation.
Children of the deceased are now left without a mother and 3 of her youngest child orphaned. 4 years ago my husband Stratton and father of 3 kids died of cancer. Friends and family members have spent the past few days, examining what remains of the house. Fraser said that grief over the loss of a loved one is unbearable. He said that the dead woman was loved by many, and she in turn loved her children, family, God and life.
Residents of the area banded together after the death of Stratton to help her children. On the website GoFundMe page created to raise money for the family, and the company North Bakersfield Toyota is conducting a donation. The NBT collects clothing, shoes and gift cards for the family of the victim and created a special place to gather other things needed by the children of the deceased.

KCFD is still investigating the cause of the fire and trying to see if there was in the house working smoke detectors. The fire service was published in a Facebook statement by the interim fire chief David Witt. He urges people to take precautions to ensure safety.

According to Witt, house fires are «quite common», and the family must develop a rescue plan in case of fire in the house. «As interim fire chief of Kern County, I never want to Wake up in the night and to know that someone died because of a fire» — the statement says Witt.
