One girl of three years old drowned and a second is in critical condition after they both visited for a birthday party, which was held around the pool of an apartment complex.
Both girls (both 3 years) was at the celebration in honor of the birthday in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, along with 8 other children and 2 adults.
The Sheriff’s office of Hillsborough County said that the police were called to the apartment complex Wexford Park Apartments shortly after 17:00.
The family celebrated the birthday of the communal pool of the complex. During games in water 2 girls who could not swim, somehow took off his rubber rings or circles are slipped with children, as told in the Sheriff’s office.

Witnesses testified that by the time the adults noticed something wrong, the children have found themselves under water.
Several adults jumped into the water, pulling girls. They performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation until then, until there arrived the ambulance staff, according to TV station ABC Action News.
The Sheriff’s office of Hillsborough County called the incident «a tragic incident».
Both girls, whose names were not disclosed, was immediately taken to a local hospital, where doctors pronounced the death of one of them. The second girl is still in critical condition in the hospital.

Resident of an apartment complex at o Vicedo Addison told the news station WTSP, «I decided that the kids play, but then I realized that those screams sounded like something was wrong. I noticed that everyone was panicking, and my mother was in tears, so I told myself not to panic, because I could be useful. I started doing CPR to the little girl, and then I noticed that she began to exude a pulse, which means that it will survive. Very sorry for both families. Especially the family of the girl who survived».
