A resident of new York accused of trying to lure a 3-year-old child in the van, promising that she will be able to Pat the puppy.

The incident occurred last Friday at West Manchester (York County, Pennsylvania).

As reported in police, the accused – 39-year-old Sixtus Chimica Odeke. Police family of the girl called from the store, which is parked. Next to the Parking lot was parked a silver van Ford.

When the mother of two children got out of the car, Odeke asked her for a cigarette. The woman gave the man a cigarette and helped to get out of the car his youngest daughter. It was then Udeke asked the baby if she wants to sit in the van to watch and Pat the puppy.

When officers arrived, they found a van that had a license plate in new Jersey. In the van he was Udeke (as it turned out, a resident of the state of new York), and two passengers – men.

«The police checked the van and found no dog nor any other animal,» said police Department West Manchester.

Udeke arrested, a judge last week denied him bail, and the man remains in York County prison. Passengers who were in the van, was not detained. Their names and the degree of familiarity with Udeke not made public.

Sixtus Chimica Odeke is expected to appear at pre-trial hearing on November 21 before district judge Keith Albright.
