The truck driver received a medal for bravery after saving a woman from a burning car seconds before explosion

A truck driver from the UK was awarded the medal of valor for rescuing woman from burning car in January last year.

The incident occurred on 17 January 2019, 17:43, when the truck driver John Rastrick was driving his route along the M1, all of a sudden after witnessing the accident. The DVR in the cabin Restrike captured the accident and the moment of salvation the 27-year-old Pari Mistry.

According to John, he hoped that the burning car was empty, but when I saw the Bet, immediately threw all of his fears and ran to help.

«I just knew that there was no longer anyone who could possibly fill in to help, and I had to do what was right.» he says.
