A man, imprisoned for the murder of his son for the sake of insurance, now convicted in California for murdering his wife for the same reason.

He was charged with arson that killed his wife, Christina Karlsen, in 1991. 19 days before Christina’s death, the man had insured her life for $200 thousand.
Christina Karlsen died in the bathroom with boarded up window, when, as it turned out, the husband set the fire.
