As reported by the California highway patrol, nearly a million dollars in cash thrown on the track during a police chase, which ended with the arrest of two men from new York who allegedly planned to buy the marijuana for the money.

After the chase, which occurred last Friday evening, police arrested 23-year-old Frank Capraro and 25-year-old Desmond Makdee.

The chase began at about 18:30 hours when the patrol tried to stop one of three black SUVs, apparently, traveled together on Interstate 5 South of Los Banos in Merced County (California).

During the chase, one SUV tried to block a patrol car, but she made a maneuver and the continued harassment of third and Chevrolet Suburban SUV.

At some point, according to law enforcement officers, Chevrolet Suburban stopped on the roadside from the car the driver jumped out and threw two cardboard boxes and then jumped back in the car and gave on gases. But later he managed to catch up. A third SUV was arrested when he stopped in traffic. The first who tried to block a patrol car, managed to escape. Now he wanted.

According to the authorities, in cardboard boxes was $915 thousand, and a police dog warned about the smell of drugs on money.

Officers also found a portable radio that, apparently, was used by drivers to communicate during the chase.
