Channel Disney fired the actor, who is suspected of trying to seduce a child

Actor channel Disney Channel 48 – year-old Stoney Westmoreland, who plays a grandfather named Henry «ham» Poppy in the popular television series «Andy Mac» – was arrested on suspicion of trying to seduce a minor.

The investigation began when the suspect began to correspond with 13-year-olds (for whom they actually wrote the law enforcers) in a special app to search for a sexual partner.

Police said that during the conversation, Westmoreland sent pictures of a pornographic nature, including male genitalia and men who have anal sex. The actor also wrote about wanting to engage a teenager in a sexual relationship.

The actor was arrested in salt lake city (Utah) – in the same town where they filmed a Comedy show. He was accused of seduction of minors via the Internet and in the demonstration of materials that can harm someone not yet 18.

Soon after came the news about the arrest of Westmoreland, PEOPLE magazine confirmed the information about dismissal of the actor from the show.

«Given the nature of the allegations and our responsibility for the well-being of minors, working with us, we freed [Westmoreland] from his permanent role, he’s not going back to work on the series,» — said representatives of the Disney Channel.

Westmoreland is in custody and could bail in the amount of $30 thousand
