Michael Jordan donated $1 million to eliminate the damage in the Bahamas after hurricane Dorian

Six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan has pledged $1 million to organizations that assist victims of hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas.

«I regret to see the destruction that brought to the Bahamas hurricane Dorian. My heart is with those who suffer or have lost loved ones. Since restoration work and rescue operations are continuing, I will monitor the situation and will help non-profit organizations, which especially need support. The people of the Bahamas are strong and have a huge will to live. I hope my donation will help them get on their feet after this devastating storm,» wrote Jordan in his official statement, which was posted on Twitter.
