The teacher was arrested and charged with violence after the video, which shows how he took 14-year-old boy from the chair, carried it across the classroom and pushed out the door.
Teacher Jeffrey A. Pafumi (47 years old) was sent to a school Buddy Taylor Middle School in palm coast, Florida on vacation during the investigation of this incident.
The video, which lasts about 14 seconds and shot another student, demonstrates only the teacher, but not the preceding argument with a student.
Daytona Beach News-Journal reports that the teacher asked the students to turn off the music playing on his computer, when he obviously did not listen, turned it off himself. The student turned music teacher turned it off, and this continued several times until the teacher took the computer.
The student told the teacher to put the gadget in place, calling Mr Paffumi word which in slang means «white American.»
Paffumi said the boy began «rapping» and then «shoved his hand» when the teacher tried to turn off the music. He noted that the insult didn’t bother him, because he is «half white and Samoan». As told the chief of police, the teenager told parents about the incident and on Tuesday they contacted the management of the school. The teacher was arrested on Wednesday.
