Trump: the summit with Kim Jong-UN still held

The President of the United States Donald trump announced that long-awaited meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN will take place.

After talks with a senior envoy from Pyongyang Kim Jong Colom the American leader said he planned on 12 June, the summit between the two leaders was not cancelled.

Trump told reporters that he hoped for a successful outcome of their dialogue. The President noted that North Korea «wants to hold denuclearization,» although Pyongyang has not confirmed this information.

According to the head of the White house, his administration has prepared «hundreds of new sanctions» to increase pressure on North Korea, but, while negotiations continue, it is not going to implement them.

It is also known that Kim Jong-Chol gave Trump a letter written personally by Kim Jong-UN, but the President had not yet opened it.

«It (the letter — ed. USA.one) can be a big surprise, guys,» — jokingly said the leader of the United States.
