President Donald trump, speaking in Indianapolis to the National rifle Association, said that the U.S. withdraws from the international Treaty of the UN on the arms trade: «We take our signature back. Soon the United Nations will receive an official notification about the fact that America rejects the Treaty. Under my administration we will never give American sovereignty to anyone. We will never allow foreign bureaucrats to trample your second amendment freedom. Today I officially declare that the United States come out of this badly misguided Treaty.»

The NRA members of Congress stood and applauded the President, and he formally signed the official letter to Congress of its decision, and threw it into the crowd pen.

The United States signed a Treaty regulating multibillion-dollar international arms market in 2013-m to year under the Obama administration. He was voted into the UN by the representatives of 154 States, including the leaders of the international arms market. However, directly the heads of many States and other competent authorities, this agreement was never signed. It does not involve Russia, China and India, the largest buyers and sellers of this sector of trade. The agreement imposes restrictions on the supply of almost all types of weapons other than weapons of mass destruction. In his sphere is trafficking in small arms, armored vehicles and tanks, artillery, aircraft and helicopters, warships.

Bob Menendez, the top Democrat in the Senate Committee on foreign Affairs, made on Twitter critical of trump: «This is another short-sighted decision that endangers the security of the United States because of false assumptions and fears. While Americans of all backgrounds struggle to understand the threat posed by those that don’t do enough to prevent the weapons from falling into the wrong hands, a concern the fact that the administration has turned back the clock and crossed the little progress we have made in preventing illegal shipments of weapons.»

With the criticism made and Moscow, itself not a signatory. The Senator from the defense Committee, associated with the Russia’s support of anti-government armed groups in the East of Ukraine, Frants Klintsevich told RIA Novosti that the US withdrawal from the agreement will damage international security: «the United States will now uncontrolled trade in weapons, increase his sales».
