The head of the congressional Committee on security Adam Schiff called for the resignation of William Barr after a letter to Robert Mueller

The Chairman of the Committee on safety Adam Schiff called on attorney General William Barr to resign after it became known that the special adviser Robert Muller believes that the chief law enforcement has publicly distorted the results of the investigation in Russia.

The democratic Congressman from California since responded to the letter to Mueller, in which the special adviser said that Barr, informing Congress and the public, distorted the findings and judgment of the investigative team. «He knew exactly what he was asked by the Congress. He knew that his answer was false. Look, it’s not sugar coated — I think it needs to go. Worse, that it is the attorney General of the United States, because it means that the audience cannot be sure what he says. This means that we can’t be sure as he sends the justice,» writes Politico.

A letter written by Mueller Barr in March, was published yesterday in the Washington Post. In it, in particular:

«Master letter that the Department sent to Congress and released to the public in the end of the day March 24, does not fully reflect the context, character and content of the work and conclusions of this Bureau. We reported these concerns to the Department on the morning of 25 March. Currently in society there is confusion in relation to critical aspects of our findings. It threatens to undermine the basic purpose for which the Department has appointed a Special adviser: to ensure full public confidence in the outcomes of investigations.»

Earlier, Twitter also urged attorney General William Barr to resign Senator Chris van HOLLEN: «For those who still doubted it, the letter Mueller shows that attorney General Barr has always been a major advocate of President trump. His four-page letter entirely misled Congress and the public. He should immediately resign».

The leader of the democratic minority in the Senate, Charles Schumer urged Mr. Barra to deliver the letter to Mueller dated March 27 for a hearing in the Senate: «In light of the letter Muller misleading nature of testimony, Barra is even worse, — quotes its words Hill, Barr should bring the letter with you when you testify in the Senate.»

Officials of the Ministry of justice told the Washington Post that they were puzzled by the tone of the letter Mueller and what was the surprise that he has such fears. Until then, until they received a letter they believed Mueller was agree with them in the process of reviewing the report and edit certain types of information, a process that took several weeks.
