In India, a Donald Trump fan has died, made famous by the creation of a 6-foot statue of the American president. Presumably, the man went on a hunger strike after learning that Trump had contracted the coronavirus.
Bi Krishna, 33, died of cardiac arrest Saturday afternoon in the south-central Indian state of Telingana, according to the New York Daily News, citing Indian edition of The News Minute. According to family members, Krishna was upset to learn that the president was sick with a potentially deadly virus and starved himself for four days.
In the video on social networks, the man, sobbing, said that he was praying for the recovery of First Lady Melania and President Trump, calling the latter his «god.»
Last year, Krishna spent over $ 19,000 to build a giant Trump statue. According to relatives, in February the man spent about $ 2,000 more trying to meet with the president during his visit to India.
