Similar buildings with unusual facades can often be seen in Williamsburg and long island city, but in other areas they are building is not too happy.

But the company ND Architecture and Design decided to go against the system and dilute less fashionable and more industrial area where the South Slope meets Gowanus structure, like a turret from the game «Tetris».

Multi-purpose building known as Alexywas recently completed, and now it has opened a housing lottery for 19 apartments. In addition to residential areas, the building includes commercial premises and Parking.

Apartments participating in the lottery can be rented at the price from $813 to $1,016 per month, depending on the size and number of inhabitants. To qualify for the right to rent at a discounted price can new Yorkers earning 60% of average income in the area. And considering that usually the rent in this part of new York costs $2,400 — $5,100 per month, the offer is the best.

The lottery allows you to rent:

• 8 studios for $813 per month with an income of $30,343 — $40,080;
• 7 apartments with one bedroom for $840 per month with an income of $31,338 — $45,840;
• 4 apartments with two bedrooms for $1,016 per month with an income of $37,406 — $57,240.

Inside each apartment has a kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, marble bathrooms, spacious closets and washer/dryer.

Residents of this building will have access to many amenities, which includes gym, lounge, children’s room, Spa-salon for animals, a storage room for bicycles, rooftop and landscaped gardens.

You can apply until 2 October. Preference will be given to residents of Brooklyn Community Board 7 in 50% of cases.
