The idol of millions of American teenagers of the 70-ies of David Bruce Cassidy admitted to hospital in Florida in critical condition. 67-year-old actor and singer was diagnosed with multiple organ failure.
Cassidy was in the hospital on Wednesday and since then his condition deteriorated. After admission to the hospital Cassidy had been in a medically induced coma and required immediate transplantation of livers and kidneys. At the moment, he remains conscious, however, the question of organ transplants is not worth it. Forecasts of doctors are unfavourable: according to them, the family should prepare for the worst.
Ex-wife and son arrived in the NICU to spend time with the patient.
Cassidy became well known with the role of the whale in the TV series «the Partridge Family», and then continued a successful career, playing in more than thirty paintings.
