According to retail analyst ShopperTrak, the number of people visiting the stores in Black Friday this year fell by 1.6% compared to the 2016-th year.
This was told by Brian field, a representative of ShopperTrak.
However, this is clearly not a failure for retailers, millions of consumers still rushed to make the purchase on Black Friday. It is noteworthy that many bought the weapon.
So, one day was sent to 086 203 requests for identity checks required to purchase firearms. The previous record was set last year, then the number of requests has reached 185 713, reports the NY Post.
According to ShopperTrak, Black Friday will be the busiest day for shops until the end of the year.
