Starting next week, cars will be completely banned in Prospect Park. This two-month pilot program, which city officials said Monday.

The movement of vehicles through Prospect Park will be banned from July 17. A similar ban already operates in the Western part of the Park on West Drive in 2015.

Currently the movement of vehicles is allowed on the East Drive just North during rush hour from 7 am to 9 am. But very soon this possibility for drivers will not. Park area will be completely pedestrian. In the Park can move freely only one form of transport – a Bicycle. In the morning darling, which runs through the Park, use at least 300 motorists.
