In San Francisco, the workers stumbled upon an ancient tombstone of the whole family

In the San Francisco electrical workers who were digging a hole near one of the private houses, came across the unusual find.

It was huge and old tombstone with three names. «How odd it was on a scale of one to ten? Eleven,» says ABC7 worker who first found the stove, Frank Graziano.

According to city authorities, this plate remains from the cemetery, Lauren hill, which was located nearby from 1852 to 1937. When the cemetery closed, the bodies were reburied in Colma. If buried do not have any family or they didn’t want to move the plate, then the city just threw the plates into the dustbin. Apparently, this is one of those tombstones 155 years ago.

It is the names of an entire family: Charles Cooper, a native of Germany; his wife Catherine and their child William Henry, who died in 1862 at the age of just 13 days.

It is unknown what will be done with the stove, but the workers say that for the beginning I decided to dig out completely and not leave in the ground. «This is a thread from the past, maybe we can transmit it, are the descendants of these people,» says Frank Graziano.
