President Donald trump will go to the victim of hurricane Harvey Texas on Tuesday.
Press Secretary of the White house Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters that the White house has continued to monitor the situation in the affected region and receives information from the local authorities. She added: «We continue to pray for those who suffered.»
As previously reported, tropical storm Harvey was the cause of deadly floods in Houston, and a multitude of destruction across Texas. Some people are unable to escape from the advancing water, even on the roofs of their houses.
President trump praised the government’s reaction to the storm and coordinated the services in Twitter.
On Sunday morning, the President tweeted that he was ready to go to Texas once to be sure it’s «not hurting anyone».
He added: «the focus should be the lives and safety».
I will be going to Texas as soon as that trip can be made without causing disruption. The focus must be life and safety.

The President also noted that scientists agree to the idea that a hurricane, like Harvey, it happens once in 500 years.
