Jubilant Spanish television journalist told his colleagues to livethat she can’t come to work the next day because he won the lottery. But all was not so rosy – the woman learned that she will receive only a small part of a large jackpot.
According to the BBC, Natalia Escudero, working for the public broadcaster RTVE in Spain, began to scream into the camera when he was declared the result of the draw of the Christmas lottery for 4 million euros (about $4.4 million).
Clutching the winning ticket in the lottery El Gordo («Fatso»), she announced that «do not come to work tomorrow.»
«Natalia is not working tomorrow!», the woman added, Bouncing with joy.

But the main prize, as it turned out, we had to split between all the winners, and the winning Escudero eventually amounted to about $5550. A nice amount for Christmas, but obviously not something that, initially, the journalist was going to «put in pocket».
Later on Twitter Natalia Escudero apologized, saying he regrets actions that could create the impression that she was dismissed from work.
«The last few months have been difficult for me for personal reasons, and for the first time the goddess of luck smiled at me a little, wrote Escudero. Sad that Natalia Escudero is now known as manipulative and deceitful journalist from RTVE. I actually was honest in that it does not come to work, because I’m leaving on Christmas vacation.»
