Huge balloons for the Macy’s parade will not go down, in spite of dangerous gusts of wind

Thanksgiving 2018 will go down in history as one of the coldest! But even after the alarming forecasts of gusty winds up to 56 km/h the Commissioner of the NYPD’s James O’neill said that the Macy’s parade on thanksgiving Day «to be!»

«Sustained winds could reach 25 mph (40 km/h). But gusts could reach 35 mph (56 km/h) that can affect the flying giant balloons,» said the weatherman on Fox 5.

  • from Central Park West to Columbus Circle
  • with E/S Columbus Circle to 59th Street
  • from there on 6th Avenue
  • then, on 34th Street
  • and ends with a parade on 7th Avenue
